TripShield is an optional paid protection plan offered by FlightsMojo at the time of booking.
It is designed to help you apply for a refund in specific emergency situations, even when airline refunds may not be available.
TripShield works independently of airline fare rules and is subject to its own terms and conditions.
What does TripShield cover?
TripShield may allow you to apply for a refund of the base fare + airline taxes if you are unable to travel due to eligible emergency situations, provided you submit valid supporting documents.
Common covered situations include (subject to terms):

Sudden worsening of an existing medical condition
Pregnancy-related complications
Death of the passenger or an immediate family member
Severe weather with official travel advisories
Theft of passport or travel documents (with police report)
Home emergencies such as fire, flood, or burglary
Court summons, jury duty, or government duty
Sudden job loss or compulsory relocation
Armed forces or emergency service recall
👉 Coverage depends on the exact reason, supporting documents, and TripShield terms.
