FlightsMojo charges a standard service fee for assisting with flight bookings, changes, cancellations, and refunds.
These fees are separate from airline charges and apply as outlined below.
What are FlightsMojo service fees?
Service fees cover the operational and processing costs involved in managing your booking, including:
Booking processing and system costs
Payment gateway and transaction charges
Coordination with airlines and suppliers
Handling change, cancellation, and refund requests
Customer support and operational handling
Please note:
FlightsMojo service fees are non-refundable
Service fees apply independently of airline refund decisions
Service fee amounts
Domestic flight bookings (within India)
₹500 per passenger per sector
International flight bookings
₹1000 per passenger per sector
These fees apply in addition to any airline-imposed charges.
Why is a service fee charged even if the airline cancels the flight?
When an airline cancels a flight, FlightsMojo still incurs operational costs to manage the cancellation and refund process.
These include:
Payment gateway charges paid at the time of booking (non-reversible)
System and technology costs involved in booking, monitoring, and updates
Manual coordination with airlines or suppliers to process cancellations
Refund initiation and tracking until completion
Customer communication and support handling
While the airline may refund the fare, these operational costs are already incurred, which is why the FlightsMojo service fee continues to apply even in airline-initiated cancellations.
When are service fees charged?
FlightsMojo service fees may apply in the following situations:
Flight cancellation requests
Flight change or rescheduling requests
Refund processing
Airline-initiated cancellations where FlightsMojo assistance is required
Service fees are charged per passenger, per sector.
Amendments and rescheduling
If your fare allows changes or rescheduling:
Airline change charges apply
Fare difference (if any) may apply
FlightsMojo charges a rescheduling handling fee of ₹500 per passenger per sector, in addition to airline charges
Some fares may not allow changes or rescheduling.
No-show and post-departure cases
After flight departure or in case of a no-show, cancellation requests are generally not permitted
Any refund, if approved by the airline, depends entirely on airline policy
FlightsMojo will refund only the amount received from the airline, after deducting applicable service fees
How do I request a change or cancellation?
All change or cancellation requests must be raised through the FlightsMojo Help Centre.
When raising a request, please keep ready:
Your Booking ID
Passenger name
Travel date
Requests made through any other channel may not be processed.
Before contacting support
Most questions about service fees, charges, and deductions are already covered above.
